I do this work with you, not for you. Your liberation is my liberation.

Begin to thrive - personally, creatively and financially - with the Wayfinding Sessions.

It can feel impossible to find your way from passion to profit without sacrificing artistic fulfillment. Between Instagram and Minted, Saatchi and Society6, there have never been more artists (or more competition) online. How do you navigate the pangs of comparison when a friend makes a five-figure sale at a local gallery?

How do you align your art goals with your core values? How do you sell your artwork? Price it, promote it? Get recognized for it? How do you go from artist to business when you’ve only ever known the flick of a brushstroke or the turn of a phrase? The truth is: Turning your creativity into your career is an inside job—and it’s possible for you.

MEET THE WAYFINDING SESSIONS:

Mentorship for independent artists

Tailored to meet your needs as a part or full-time artist, The Wayfinding Sessions are a different approach to mentorship, designed to set you on a self-determined path to a fulfilling career in the arts. The Wayfinding Sessions will help you find your way through the how, where, and why of selling your work—but it’s not all business. Sure, we’ll talk pricing and strategy, but we’ll also discover your purpose as an artist, identify your blocks and map out your next steps so you can thrive - commercially and creatively.

I’ll be by your side every step of the way.

Way (n.)

Old English weg "road, path; course of travel; room, space, freedom of movement;" also, figuratively, "course of life" especially, in plural, "habits of life" as regards moral, ethical, or spiritual choices, from Proto-Germanic *wega- "course of travel, way".

Mentor (n.)

"wise adviser, intimate friend who also is a sage counselor." The name perhaps ultimately means "adviser," because in form it is an agent noun of mentos "intent, purpose, spirit, passion."

The Wayfinding Sessions

  • STEP ONE: DISCOVERY

Discovery is all about you, your creative and business aspirations. It begins with a fun and empowering process designed to discover who you are, what motivates you, and what sets you back. Next, we look at your purpose, where you excel and where you need support. This process will be the foundation of our work together.

  • STEP TWO: SETTING THE PATH

Informed by our work together in the discovery process, I take what I have learned, and create a personalized plan that will take you where you need to go. We’ll create milestones that propel you forward, and rewards that motivate. Our clearly defined scope will help keep us on track.

  • STEP THREE: THE WORK OF WAYFINDING

This is where the work gets done. Along the path, you will be given small micro-learnings through a personalized platform, along with one-to-one working sessions via Zoom, designed especially for you. This includes a focused check-in each month, to measure our progress and make any course corrections.

  • STEP FOUR: ARRIVING

Here, we take a look at where we started, and where we have arrived. We'll celebrate the progress you've made - personally and professionally - and we'll wrap up our time with a visioning session that will keep you on your path.
